Bustle and Loiter Giveaway (Now Closed)

I'm very happy to say that it's time for another giveaway, and also to introduce you to some awesome creative talent. Bustle and Loiter is the work of Auckland based graphic designer and Mum of two, Kirsten Somerville. Bustle (daily life can by busy) and Loiter (creative life can be slow) is Kirsten's creative adventure. Artwork she felt the need to create and share - aren't we lucky she did?!

Who remembers paint-by-numbers? I loved them, and created many masterpieces as a kid. Bustle and Loiter has a sweet little deer paint-by-numbers and a pair of pretty flamingos.

The design is printed on a canvas sheet and you'll just need your choice of acrylic paint and brushes to complete the artwork. Kirsten is looking at developing these into full kits complete with paint in the future, so watch this space.

If you love the print, but don't fancy painting it yourself, you can purchase Oh Deer! as a finished print, and you'll be able to do the same with the Flamingos soon too. Also coming soon are the DIY Cross Stitch Canvas prints - so cute!

The Pastel Parade prints are my favourite. Kirsten has created personas for all her gorgeous characters. Dorothea's skill and poise are both legendary. With her lucky feather tucked into her hair, she'll happily admit that she'd rather be flying through the air than anywhere else.

Lucille is a ball balancing genius. Her pretty parasol is more for style than balance - she's that good!

Cool, calm and collected, Maeve walks the tightrope without a flicker of fear!

Elmer is a liv'n on the edge risk taker, as you can see. However, he's also a bit dubious about quite where he'll end up!

Twins Elvin and Elroy don't quite match. Elroy is not quite the daredevil that Elvin is, and much prefers to do the heavy lifting.

Walter and Theodore appear to be a little bit klutzy and out of control. In actual fact they're the best clowns in the business.

I'm sure the little people in your life will love these endearing characters too, and they'd look adorable framed on their walls. Bustle and Loiter have kindly given me six of the A4 Pastel Parade prints to give away - one set of the girls and one set of the boys. To win make sure you 'like' both Cush & Nooks and Bustle and Loiter on Facebook and email me to tell me which set you'd like to win and what you'd do with the prints.

You have until next Wednesday 16 April to enter, and the two winners will be contacted by email, and announced on my Facebook page next Thursday 17 April. Good luck! (Competition only open to NZ residents).
